Spiraling
Written and created by Tammy Brown (c)2025
Spiraling,
Sometimes I tend to spiral out,
Into that sea of too much doubt
‘Swim back quick, to safety, safely’
I think- but, I can’t seem to find ’me’.
Whenever, however I lose control of-
Is usually something to do with love
A love no one can give or offer me,
A love that could set, even me, free.
The love of the one only I can see;
A love already existing inside of me.
Live the life created from a desire,
Courage, as if complicated, a- dire.
Live as though anything’s possible.
Love deeply as though unstoppable.
I made my way back to myself, finally;
Still knowing that ‘sea’ is within me;
That same ’me’ will always cherish,
The ‘me’ that will someday perish.
Getting lost inside my own mind
Looking for Heaven’s glory divine.
The path leads right back to me,
The results always are spiritually.
To find words I’ve long searched for,
Yet forbidden to say anymore.
Relinquish the sea oh you- I distrust,
Squash the doubt, I simply must.
Live the life created from a desire,
Courage, as if complicated, a- dire.
Live as though anything’s possible.
Love deeply as though unstoppable.
Life thoughts, ambivalent emotions,
Run through the blood of devotion;
Humiliating, tiny embarrassments,
Receive worst of ugly harassments;
Stay away from me oh sea of doubt;
Instead, yet turn yourself inside out.
I do know from whither I came from,
And this life I live is truly my only one
Don’t trust the wrong one
For this, I consider it done.
Sea of doubt, inside out, I’m done
Live the life created from a desire,
Courage, as if complicated, a- dire.
Live as though anything’s possible.
Love deeply as though unstoppable.
Stop spiraling.
